Vranken-Pommery Monopole first started producing English sparkling wine in 2014 in collaboration with local Hampshire wine makers and was the first wine to be sold by a Champagne group under the Louis Pommery England brand, and continues to do so.

 

In 2017 the first vines were planted at the Pommery owned vineyard Pinglestone estate near Alresford. Having been recently certified sustainable wine of Great Britain in 2021 they look forward to releasing their first Pinglestone vintage soon.
